A Bit About My Journey
I wasn’t always a chiropractor. At 17, I left high school to chase a dream of becoming a professional road cyclist. I spent time racing in Spain and Belgium before realizing that path wasn’t quite right for me. I came back to Canada and shifted gears—literally—into mountain biking, racing full-time in the Canada Cup and NORBA series as a pro for four seasons. It was a thrilling chapter, but not a lifelong career.
After that came another dream: professional snowboarding. I chased powder across Mount Washington, Whistler, and the North Shore mountains. But again, I knew there was something more I was meant to do.
Eventually, I landed at the University of British Columbia to study exercise science and human performance. While there, I had the incredible opportunity to work with the Vancouver Canucks and learn from some of the top minds in health and sport science. Those experiences helped guide me toward my true calling: chiropractic.
I moved to Toronto to attend the only chiropractic college in Canada, and during those challenging school years, I found balance by training for Ironman triathlons—including multiple finishes at Ironman Penticton.
